Surveillance Video Supports Suge Knight’s Claim That He Was Attacked by 2 Men He is Accused of Running Over

Suge Knight

TMZ has obtained video of the incident, which happened on January 29th in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers during the filming of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. In the footage, the former Death Row Records CEO is seen getting in an argument with Cle “Bone” Sloan. After Sloan attacked Suge, who was seated in his red SUV, Knight is seen putting the truck in reverse, running over Sloan.

Moments later, Knight is seen fleeing the scene hitting Sloan a second time and then running over Terry Carter, killing him instantly (due to its gruesome nature, that part is blurred out).

Knight, who was charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of a hit-and-run, claims he wasn’t trying to run over either men, instead trying to escape out of fear he would be killed.

The video, which the main piece of evidence in the case, was authorized by Terry Carter’s family to be released online by TMZ. “The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video,” says the family’s lawyer Gary Dordick.

The footage drops as Suge Knight is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom for a hearing on Monday. Currently in jail without bail, the 49-year-old has pleaded not guilty.
